The therapeutic processes at Blooming Mind are tailored to each client. Most individual therapy sessions are approximately one hour long and held once a week, but the frequency and duration vary based on individual needs, preferences, and progress. Family therapy is offered in accompaniment to individual therapy when it is appropriate and requested by the client, parent, or therapist. Sessions are held in-person at the office in Jenks or via telehealth (secure online video/audio call) depending on client preferences.

Our therapists are trained in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
Our clinicians are masters-level licensed professional counselors (LPCs) and LPC-Candidates, who are trained in and practice various approaches to therapy. We are passionate in helping clients with challenges related to autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, sensory processing difficulties, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, social connection development, communication difficulties, adjustment issues, and stress management. Depending on the client’s needs and preferences, the techniques, modalities, and theories used throughout the therapeutic process may include: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), humanistic (person-centered, gestalt) therapies, mindfulness-based approaches, somatic experiencing, polyvagal theory, sensory integration techniques, narrative therapy, attachment-based therapy, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), interactive maladaptive communication management, trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), strengths-based therapy, animal assisted therapies (AAT), choice theory, grief therapy, alternative communication techniques, accelerated resolution therapy (ART), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and a variety of interactive play therapy and art therapy modalities.

Insurances accepted at Blooming Mind differ per provider, but include Aetna, BCBS, Cigna/Evernorth, First Health, Health Choice, Healthcare Highways/90 Degree Benefits, Medica, United Healthcare (UHC), United Medical Resources (UMR), and Oklahoma Medicaid (Soonercare/ SoonerSelect) plans.
Eligibility and benefits are determined prior to the initial intake session. Clients are responsible for all deductible, copay, and/or coinsurance payments their insurance determines is applicable to their specific policy.
Self-pay rates range from $80-$155 per session, differing per service and provider. Self-pay rates are for clients without insurance, who are out-of-network, or who choose not to use their insurance benefits for therapy. Please contact us for these specific rates.
Therapists at Blooming Mind PLLC cannot and will not represent clients in court. A flat fee of $500 in addition to the hourly rate of $175 will be required for court appearances if Subpoenaed (subpoena must be signed by the judge).
